Pages In Progress: Feature Article

This is my feature article so far, i have decided to continue with the colour scheme of pink, blue and yellow to add some brightness into the design and make it as eye catching as possible. I have seen a font that i wish to continue and use for my bands name in the title of the article. It is of a retro girly style and i think it is very appropriate and appealing for my band. The caption underneath the band name is in reference to the Cyndi Lauper song, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". This was chosen because i believe it is a very appropriate saying for my band as it just describes how fun and happy they all are.

My Page Drafts

These are the first ideas and designs for my magazine, these are only the first hand made drafts that i have made and so my final magazine pages may not be identical to these drafts although they will obviously have the same theme and genre to them.

Pages In Progress

This is my first mock of my contents page, i am finding it difficult to choose a background colour that will not clash with the rest of the colours on the page so i think i will end up leaving it white. I need to add more writing and include more pictures to flu up my page a little more, as it needs to have less unused white space and more eye catching details.

This is my first post on the progression of my front cover. Because i am keeping my background white as i believe it is the only colour (apart from black, which i do not believe is appropriate as it is too dark for my target audience) that will make the bright colours stand out. I am going to be including more shapes and bright colours as to get rid of the white space and attract my target audience. I am currently trying to work out how to make the title of my page's colours in a gradient effect as to make it more attractive and eye catching to my audience.
